Erich Widemark, PhD, RN, FNP-BC

Dr. Widemark is a faculty member of the Nurse Practitioner program and the director of Simulation Education for the University of Phoenix, College of Health Sciences and Nursing. In addition, he sees patients with an internal medicine practice in the Phoenix area. He has had various roles with University of Phoenix including Director of Nursing, Lead Faculty Area chair, and Subject Matter Expert for Curriculum Development within the Nurse Practitioner Program. He has worked for several local area Pain Management Practices and has presented on various topics including Managing Patients with Chronic Pain.

Dr. Widemark is a Board Member for Arizona Health-e Connection and is past President of the Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council. He has been involved with various organizations including the American Pain Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American College of Cardiology, and the Cardiovascular Society of Advanced Practice Providers. He is the founder of the Coalition of Arizona Nurses in Advanced Practice.
